Our client is a privately held Canadian company that is looking for a Senior Recruitment Manager to join their team.
The Opportunity:
As the Senior Recruitment Manager, you will act as an ambassador for our organization responsible for the full execution of recruitment initiatives. You will identify unique sourcing strategies, build our employer brand, and maintain and analyze data to build & improve the company’s national recruiting processes. The ideal candidate will be an innovative, highly proactive social networker specializing in building & fostering relationships particularly with sales professionals.
What you will do:
- Responsible for sourcing and recruiting talent through multiple channels while handling a portfolio of up to 20 positions at a time varying from entry level, manager and director
- Implement innovative and proactive recruiting strategies for challenging roles and ways to promote the company as a fantastic employer, boosting our visibility for potential candidates
- Create recruitment project plans, which encompass timelines, strategies, cost and resources.
- Meet with hiring managers to understand and scope the role, determine how it fits into the organization objectives and build a recruiting plan and timeline accordingly
- Conduct thorough candidate assessments via phone or in-person interviews
- Manage the candidate experience by ensuring that all candidates have a first-class interaction with the company at all stages of the recruitment process, including timely turn around on interview bookings and post interview follow up
- Develop behavioral based interview questions and coach hiring managers to prepare for in–person interviews
- Provide in-depth assessments of candidate strengths and gaps and probe areas to hiring managers and debrief and consult with hiring managers post interviews and provide input and advice hiring decision
- Produce weekly reports and ad-hoc metrics on recruitment data such as hiring status to all hiring managers and direct manager
- Manage the employee referral process ensuring timely communication to candidate and associate referral
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of top talent while networking with industry contacts and associations
What you will need:
- A university degree in Human Resources or related field.
- A minimum of 5-7 years of professional recruiting experience with at least 2 years of direct sourcing/agency experience.
- Experience managing and executing on a portfolio of 10 – 20 + vacancies concurrently
- Experience recruiting sales professionals
- Demonstrated experience developing and executing on regional recruitment strategies
- Strong experience in ‘selling’ a career opportunity in a growth oriented company
- Superior verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate in a clear, concise, confident, persuasive and compelling manner with a variety of individuals including senior leaders and external candidates of a high professional caliber.
