We are looking for a Director, Planning & Operations to join our newly formed Senior Leadership Team as we continue to excel in innovation and service excellence in the industry.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

  • As a member of the Senior Leadership Team, act as the subject matter expert for ensuring optimal load fill by lane and capacity is in place to support outbound & inbound volume
  • Work closely as the right hand of the COO on key projects to augment company growth and digitization
  • Leverage your skills and experience to help set the course for the Planning & Operations and the company for the future
  • Lead and inspire a team of 7 focused on planning, tactical rating, OTR/City dispatch, and driver optimization
  • Align workflow to Customs, Partners and DC operations

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 10-15 years of progressively responsible experience in the Supply Chain Industry
  • Transportation industry experience is a must-have with a strong preference for an LTL focus
  • 5+ years at the management level, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement
