Description

Role Purpose
The Administrator to the HR Division supports and facilitates HR activities such as Corporate Administration, Talent Management, On-Boarding, Benefits Administration, Global Mobility, HRIS data integrity and reporting.  They will work closely with the Corporate HR team to ensure service, initiatives, and communication align to Policy, best practices and Woodbridge operating objectives.


What you will do

HRIS/Reporting

  • Ensures data integrity of the HRIS system including but not limited to all status changes, training requirements, benefits administration, new hires, terminations, and retirements.
  • Maintain pension information and import DB Contributions to the HRIS
  • Responsible for monthly NGS and Blue Cross reconciliation

Teammate Relations:

  • Oversees the Total Rewards enrollment process, record keeping, and materials distribution, utilizing the Company HRIS (InfoHR) and other corporate approved information sources and answers all questions in a timely fashion.
  • Provides guidance and direction to all teammates by providing interpretation to pension and benefits questions.
  • Owner of Service Recognition Program for North American Facilities
  • Assist with Fellowship awards
  • Participate in Local Human Resources community to network and understand local issues and trends.
  • Support Managers/Leaders with engagement surveys

Training & Development:

  • Review training needs for all teammates in conjunction with department managers and Corporate HSE. Ensures training matrices and plans in all procedures implemented are up to date and readily accessible for compliance and audit purposes.
  • Coordinate new corporate training for Kipling and Mississauga team
  • Report on compliance training for Mississauga and Kipling location
  • Over the administration of training such as assigning the eWIL courses and WPS training
  • Ownership of the learning map
  • Update Training matrix for sites / functions

Communication:

  • Work with Corporate HR Department to ensure all written content sent to and from teammates is sent in a consistent way with regards to script, tone, and messaging and that appropriate communication processes are utilized on a timely and consistent basis

Administration:

  • Maintain all teammate records in accordance with Company and Privacy Requirements.
  • Assist Total Rewards Group and HR Manager with annual WIA program, PMD process and worldwide merit consolidations.
  • Assist Corporate HR team with administrative functions such as filing, data entry, correspondence, program administration etc.
  • Add new teammates to the pension and benefits program
  • Run the monthly pension (Sunlife) and benefit billing report
  • Assist recruitment team with the drafting of Employment letters
  • Own the invoicing process as well as the credit card list
  • Order and maintain an inventory of office supplies
  • Distribution of termination Pension Packages
  • Responsible for payroll filing
  • Update/Maintain total rewards compliance files
  • Provide coverage and backup to HS&E coordinator


What you’ll bring

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Working towards a Professional Human Resources Designation
  • Two (2) or more years’ experience in a similar role within the manufacturing industry, specifically automotive is desirable.
  • Strong computer skills well versed in MS office and HRIS systems
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and attention to detail skills
  • Initiative and customer service orientation
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work within tight deadlines, customer services orientated
