Enthusiast is looking for a senior product executive to oversee product strategy and drive the implementation and execution of new web and mobile products across Enthusiast’s O&O content portfolio, including Destructoid.com, DailyEsports.com, Siliconera.com, and The Escapist. You will work in partnership with the content and technology teams to understand product requirements to bring Enthusiast Gaming's media properties to the next level through relaunches of all properties. Our goal is to turn these brands into a best in class digital hub for gaming news and culture content in 2021.

What You Will Do:

• Manage and oversee the product strategy and management of several of Enthusiast Gaming O&O media websites; including Destructoid.com, Nintendo Enthusiast, Siliconera, PC Invasion, Operation Sports, Planet Destiny, Daily Esports, and any new media verticals
• Bring creativity, ingenuity, and insight into the product design process, ensuring that we create consistent and enjoyable user journeys that are both clearly articulated and tied to value propositions.
• Partner with external development agencies to support the re-design and relaunch of Enthusiast’s portfolio of brands
• Communicate regularly with business unit leaders and other key business stakeholders to ensure overall product roadmaps (across product lines) align with their strategic imperatives
• Partner with external development agencies to support product launches and internal IT to prioritize O&O related projects.
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to build ad offerings that scale for a diverse set of owned+operated and affiliate publishers
• Lead build vs. buy evaluations for key integrations; ensuring we are investing prudently in core competencies + technologies and partnering where more appropriate
• Own overall product metrics; including user engagement, product stickiness, and revenue per page view

Requirements:

• Experience: Minimum of 10+ years experience in digital media, including oversight of multiple brands and significant experience working with WordPress sites
• Knowledge of the digital media and advertising landscape
• Demonstrated success in an entrepreneurial environment, ideally within a startup or high-growth technology company
• Proven project management experience and ability to think strategically, with the ability to "roll-up sleeves" and work independently
• Strong track record of successful web and mobile product launches in the media space.
• Deep background in video digital content including front end and back end
• Expert level understanding of the product design and product development processes and with best practices in UI/UX in web development
• Strong experience with Core Web Vitals (specifically LCP, CLS, FID) to audit agency and team performance 
• Ability to build rapport with internal teams; a team-oriented culture champion
• Experience with mobile app development would be useful, but not required
