INDIVA is a Licensed Producer under Canada's Access to Cannabis for Medical Purposes Regulation ("ACMPR") with its first indoor cannabis production facility located in London, Ontario and London's first licensed producer!

INDIVA aims to become a global cannabis brand recognized for high quality products and excellent client care. As cannabis laws liberalize in Canada, INDIVA will continue to expand its client-friendly cannabis products. In addition, as cannabis laws liberalize internationally, INDIVA will use its Canadian operations as a platform to open new markets for its cannabis products.

THE OPPORTUNITY
We are currently recruiting for a VP, Sales to strategize, lead and execute INDIVA business development initiatives. Reporting to the Executive Management Team, the successful candidate will have lead accountability for patient and consumer acquisition programs within distribution channels. The VP, Sales will develop the outside and inside sales team structure and staffing to meet the rapid growth opportunities, and will bring innovative insights to work closely with the Marketing team to differentiate INDIVA products to the marketplace. The successful individual for this role will be an excellent relationship builder, be knowledgeable of the Cannabis industry, have strong analytical and financial acumen and come from a regulated product environment such as Pharmaceuticals, Beverage Alcohol, Cannabis or Tobacco.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Sales Leadership:
  • Development of the strategic patient and consumer acquisition programs
  • Establish superior supplier relationships with Medical clinics, physicians, patients and consumer retail channels
  • Manage distribution channels and partners
  • Build and lead a high-energy, results-focused sales team
  • Develop and manage departmental priorities, targets and budgets
  • Participate as full member of rapid-growth leadership team, accountable for overall business success in addition to own functional area of responsibility
  • Involvement in the implementation and management a CRM
  • Lead the development of trade marketing programs and collateral, including consumer awareness activations
  • Ensure sales team subject matter expertise on the ever-evolving landscape of Health Canada Regulations and Cannabis Legislation
Qualifications:
  • Canadian Sales leadership experience in a regulated industry such as beer wine or spirits, medical or pharmaceutical, tobacco or cannabis or other regulated consumer products
  • High degree of initiative and accountability – much of this role exists in uncharted territory, you will need to combine visionary leadership with immediate get-it-done attitude
  • Ability to travel 50%+ of the time
  • Excellent people management skills, and strong entrepreneurial culture leadership
  • Proven ability to establish and maintain sterling executive-level relations, with exceptional communication, negotiation and facilitation skills required both externally and internally
  • Excellent business management/development skills
  • Strong computer skills
  • Knowledge of or interest in the Cannabis legal framework
