Position Summary:

In this position, you will be responsible for reviewing, analyzing and maintaining credit files on dealerships and related commercial clients. You will also provide ongoing support to the Dealer Credit group and the Branches in all aspects of dealer credit businesses. This position will report directly to the Dealer Credit Manager.

Primary Activities:

  • Assist in managing, reviewing and analyzing detailed financial and non-financial information to identify and mitigate risks associated with lending to automotive dealerships and other commercial clients.
  • Prepare and present risk rating distribution, violations, areas of concerns, trends etc, to the Branches and Credit Committee.
  • Review documentation for credit decisions; provide advice and guidance to the Branches.
  • Assist in reporting Risk Ratings and Credit exposure to the TFS Americas Region headquarters on a quarterly basis.
  • Set up and maintain inventory lines of credit, construction & mortgage loans and wholesale leases as required.
  • Facilitate Branch requests in a timely and reasonable manner including: mortgage funding and payouts.
  • Provide customer service to the Branches to ensure clear communications in all matters with the Borrower and with Credit Committee.
  • Highlight and / or clarify any risks to Credit Committee otherwise not identified by the Branches. All risks must be highlighted to the Branches before presentation to the Credit Committee.
  • Review all incoming requests for credit in a timely and efficient manner
  • Support the Dealer Credit Manager in all functions and initiatives.
  • Support the Branches to assemble presentations to the Credit Committee.

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or other related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a related field, preferably in the financial services sector, on the commercial side.
  • Ability to read and analyze company financial statements from a credit risk management perspective.
  • Excellent written and communication skills
  • Display strong initiative and ability to manage time and projects to achieve required tasks and goals while ensuring a high standard of quality.
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel
