Description

PRODUCT ANALYST

Role Overview:

Reporting to the Product Manager, the Product Analyst conducts research and performs analysis related to each stage of the product lifecycle. Primary responsibilities include gathering, measuring, and analyzing market research; participating in product design; and implementing projects to create new products and increase market share.

Responsibilities:

  • Participate in identification of new product and business opportunities
  • Conduct market research and analysis including industry forecasts, competitive analysis and product key indicators
  • Monitor the marketplace for insights, assist the Product Manager with competitive feature comparisons
  • Develop monthly reports by products Sales vs. Claims
  • Track and monitor post-product launches, make recommendations and highlight areas of opportunities
  • Create complete documentation for all products
  • Assist in development of the Product Management Portal
  • Develop ad hoc presentations for internal departments

  • Demonstrated experience in defining and executing complex research and analytical projects

Key Qualifications:

    • Minimum 3-5 years' experience in market research and analysis, preferably in the insurance industry
    • Advanced computer skills, specifically MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
    • Undergraduate degree is required; MBA is desirable
