We are looking for a full time Lead Hydronics Technician to lead installs of Hydronics Systems in and around the GTA. Own transportation preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Service and install HVAC and Hydronic systems
  • Perform general maintenance
  • Instruct customers on care and maintenance
  • Document all work completed
  • Communicate daily with supervisor on job status and/or issues
  • Supervise junior technicians
  • Work overtime/night/weekend/on-call hours as required
  • Maintain company property accordingly (truck interior, exterior, tools, and shop)
  • Work under pressure and complete jobs within time limit given

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 5 years hydronics experience including design, installation and production
  • A strong understanding of Boilers and Hydronic Systems
  • Understanding of HVAC controls
  • Experience installing residential gas fired appliances
  • An ability to read blue prints, drawings and take offs
  • Knowledge of electricity and controls
  • Ability to diagnose and repair HVAC systems
  • G2 gas license minimum
  • 313D an asset
  • Journeyman Plumbing Ticket
  • Hydronic design designation is an asset
  • Good communication and computer skills
  • Class G Driver’s License (Clean Driving Record)
  • Current Fall Arrest, WHMIS, First Aid
  • Completed high school or applicable post-secondary designation
  • Pro-active, positive attitude
  • Excellent planning and time management skills;
  • Strong work ethic
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a rapidly changing environment
  • Ability to problem solve
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Self-motivation
  • Strong desire to provide excellent customer service and build strong customer relationships.
