Description

HirePower Inc., a Human Resources Consulting organization, has an immediate opening for a Payroll and Benefits specialist to support one of our Clients. This is an 2 month contract opportunity with a potential of being extended. 

Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • ADP Workforce Now
    • Onboarding and Offboarding on ADP
    • Report running
    • Payroll submissions
  • Health Benefits
    • Onboarding, offboarding and tracking
  • Group RRSP
    • Onboarding, offboarding and tracking
  • General Administration
    • Supporting the manager mostly with administrative tasks

Education Requirements

· Bachelor's degree or equivalent post-secondary degree in Human Resources.

Skills, Abilities & Requirements

  • Three to five (3-5) years progressive experience in payroll and benefits
  • Experience in ADP Workforce Now system is a must
  • Intuitive, business-oriented, and have a people-first approach to your work
  • Ability to work independently and being proactive
  •  A collaborative team player who is flexible, ready to roll up their sleeves and has the end goal of supporting and working as a team is required.
  • Excellent communicator (both written and verbal) with a proven ability to build mutual trust and credibility at all levels of an organization.
  • Excellent organization, time management and resiliency skills.
