Our client is a large provider in the healthcare service industry in Canada. They have multiple businesses which report into an International Organization. The role of the Real Estate Coordinator is one that requires a highly organized and professional person who enjoys a challenge. They will be working alongside many different staff and vendors which requires extreme patience and diplomacy.

Further details about the company and compensation package would be discussed with those candidates selected for an interview. This opportunity is in the North York area of Toronto, ON.

What you will do Real Estate:

  • Provide excellent client support and be the first point of contact for landlords, contractors as well liaison with clinic staff. Office system isFreshDesk
  • Work with various insurance companies, landlords/property managers and contractors to mitigate any losses due to unfortunate events
  • Responsible for the management of insurance certificates across the business including property, professional liability and company event insurance. As well auditing broker’s annual property renewal and other reports.
  • Complete and support applications, renewals and amendments for business license (non – Ontario) & occupancy permits
  • Ensuring utilities are transferred and set up/cancelled depending on the office relocation details.
  • Manage the communication with landlords / property managers for obtaining consents and authorizations for rebranding, I.T. access, Marketing signage.
  • Maintain relationships with landlords /property managers and finance for lease extensions, renewals. Salesforce updates and lease abstracts.
  • Ad-hoc and regular reporting based on business request and decisions.

What you need to succeed:

  • Strong interpersonal, organization, communication &problem-solving skills
  • Proven experience and thrive in a fast-paced, multi-business environment
  • Initiative and the ability to make sound judgement decisions
  • Technologically capable to use various software and equipment
  • Education in business or similar field
  • Similar experience at a National business with 35+ offices
