Description

RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Executing full-cycle recruitment for all Clients  Services groups, including a focus on Legal Support roles
  2. Partnering with hiring managers, consulting on hiring decisions and advising on recruitment best practices
  3. Determining applicant requirements by studying job descriptions, competency profiles and job qualifications
  4. Evaluating applicant qualifications by interviewing applicants, analyzing responses, effectively using and interpreting assessment results, verifying references and comparing qualifications to job requirements
  5. Providing support to the Client in the interpretation and execution of policy and procedures used for requisitioning and obtaining new talent
  6. Attracting applicants by using innovative sourcing strategies including online search methods, professional networking and campus and social media networks
  7. Building applicant pipeline for frequently recruited positions including maintaining applicant engagement
  8. Building Client branding in the marketplace by recommending communication channels including social media platforms
  9. Collecting and providing recruitment statistics for dashboard reporting and workforce planning
  10. Improving organization attractiveness by researching best practices, monitoring job offers and compensation practices and emphasizing benefits and perks
  11. Understanding current legislation in order to ensure that hiring managers are compliant with regulations, recommending new procedures and conducting training as required
  12. Maintaining job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, maintaining professional networks and/or participating in professional organizations
  13. Other duties as may be assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

  1. Post-secondary education with HR focus

     2. Minimum 5 years’ proven success in a strategic sourcing or Talent Acquisition role, conducting  full-cycle corporate recruitment

    3. Experience working in and/or recruiting for the legal industry required

   4. Experience in both search firm/agency and corporate recruitment environments an asset

  5. Client-service oriented and ability to influence without authority

  6. CHRP designation an asset

  7. Strong computer skills including online sourcing and familiarity with Boolean search, and Intermediate proficiency with             Microsoft Word and Excel

 8. Well-developed written and oral communication skills, including presentation and consulting skills

 9. Strong analytical, critical thinking and creative thinking skills

10. Adaptable and able to respond to urgent requests and changing priorities

11. Collaborative approach to problem-solving and relationship development, and ability to work effectively with individuals at       all levels of the Firm

12. Proven ability to multi-task and work well under pressure

13. Bilingualism (French/English) would be an asset
